Put yourself up for an officer role.
Some questions you might have about the form…
What’s the photo for?
We need a photograph of you to use whilst promoting the elections.
What might make me good for a role?
Think about the experience and skills you have that would make you successful in the role. You might have experience running events, organising a team, or representing students at course committee. Remember experience isn’t everything, maybe explain why you would also be excited to learn on the job.
What should my goals be?
Not just ‘represent all students and hold the school to account’ – that’s already part of the job. What changes do you want to see at Central and think you could get done in a year?
Does someone else have to nominate me?
No, you can put yourself up for the role. A few years ago another student had to nominate you for a role, however that’s changed now, we just call in ‘nominations’ out of habit!
