Welcome to the Backstage Bar.
By day, it’s the Student Common Room, but at 5pm, it becomes the Backstage Bar. Serving a range of alcoholic drinks, the Backstage Bar is a great place to meet with friends after classes, and is the home of many Central Students’ Union events.
The Backstage Bar is for students, so students are hired to work at the bar.
The Backstage Bar also runs “Barmageddon” on the last day of term, with extended opening hours. Check the SU Instagram for more details.
Opening Hours
Monday to Friday: 5pm to 11pm
The Backstage Bar is only open during term time.

SK
SK is the Backstage Bar manager.
SK is responsible for the running of the backstage Bar including training the team, overseeing events and creating a safe and fun space for students to relax and enjoy themselves.
