Postgraduate Officer
Part-time role

The Postgraduate Officer focuses on the educational experience of the postgraduate students. Working with the faculty office and the Undergraduate Officer to support students with any academic matters, amplify student feedback mechanisms and taking feedback to the relevant staff members.

The Postgraduate Officer also sits on the Schools Board of Governors as a Student Governor. 

The Postgraduate Officer will be expected to:

• Meet at least once a term with students from each postgraduate program to hear any feedback. 
• Share responsibility of minuting and documenting meetings for the executive committee with the Undergraduate Officer. 
• Attend Student Voice Committee for all Postgraduate courses.  
• Be jointly responsible for working events with the other elected officers. 
• Attend meetings of the Board of Governors. 
• Work to achieve their manifesto goals. 

This role will receive a stipend of £1,200 per year to recognise the work done for the union, subject to approval.
