The role…

Vice President of Postgrads

Working closely with the President behind the scenes to make everything the union does possible and
successful, with a focus on the educational experience of postgrad students. Working with the faculty
office and the VP of Undergrads to support students with any academic matters, amplify student
feedback mechanisms and taking feedback to the relevant staff members who can help solve issues.
Sharing the responsibility of student council with the VP of Undergrad.

The VP of Postgrads will be expected to:

• Deputise for the president where necessary
• Meet at least once a term with students from each undergraduate programme to hear any
  feedback
• Chair Student Council (including organising dates, advertising etc.)
• Share responsibility of minuting and documenting meetings for the executive committee with
  the VP of Undergrads

This role also sits on Centrals Board of Governors.
